On Blogger Call, Beck Calls for Unity

On a conference call with bloggers ahead of FreedomWork's BlogCon 2013, Glenn Beck called for increased unity on the right. He noted that he "becomes more libertarian" everyday, but lamented the condescending attitude of some in the movement. Beck argued that the right needed to shift its focus to the vast wealth of issues on which there is already widespread agreement, and leave more controversial issues for a later day.

Beck also commented on the state of the media. He believes the mainstream networks are becoming less relevant every day, a hypothesis supported by this devastating graph of newspaper revenues.

Beck will headline the annual BlogCon conference in Dallas this year.
