Comic: Tax Cuts for "the Rich" — Updated
Comic by Toby of TobyToons.com
Update: Below is a chart of the effective personal income tax rate for a single person based on income from incomes of $1,000 to $500,000. The more you make, the bigger Uncle Sam's cut. Click the graph for a larger version.
The next two charts show the amount of taxes paid by various income classes. The first gives the percentage of the total personal income tax burden paid by the class, and the second nomalizes the same data for a constant class size and compares the per-capita expense of a class member to the per-capita expense of a member of the Bottom 50% class. (e.g. The top 1% pay an average of 704.02 times more in personal income taxes than a member of the Bottom 50%)
