Petition to Establish Gun-Free Zones around President, Vice President Hits 25,000 Signature Requirement

A White House "We the People" petition has reached the 25,000 signature mark necessary to initiate a response from the Obama administration. First, let me say that there is not a snowballs chance in hell that the White House will become a gun free zone. The president and his family will continue to be surrounded by armed guards—a fact the president wasn't shy to brag about in the past.

That said, I await the White House response as they try to reconcile using the same weapons they want to ban for average Americans to protect the President and Vice President, not to mention the standard issue, fully automatic submachine guns like this:
