Mitt Romney Doesn't Own Sensata

Clever phrasing has led some liberals to believe Mitt Romney owns 51% of Sensata Technologies. To quote Joe Biden, that's "not mathematically possible." SooperMexican tracked down the numbers: Mitt Romney has $8 Million dollars invested in Bain Capital. The company manages more than 8000 times that amount. In the end, Romney's investment in Sensata amounts to about 0.0064% of the company.

The sizes of the shaded areas in the info-graphic above are accurate. However, because of the small number of pixels in Mitt Romney's sphere, the overlap with Sensata (yes, they overlap) is about twice the size it should be.
