A few months ago my friend Pearce Godwin, founder of the Listen First Project, asked me if I would be willing to visit Raleigh to debate the Second Amendment as part of his organization's ongoing "conversations" series. Last month, we were finally able to make that happen, and I sat down with Pearce and WCHL 97.9 FM's Berkley Grimball, host of I'll Grant You That, to talk about one of our most fundamental rights--the right to self-preservation.
