#LapdogMedia 101: Don't Report on Obama Gaffes
When Mitt Romney accidentally introduced Paul Ryan as the "next President" instead of the next Vice President, and quickly corrected his error, the media pounced. A Google news search for Romney gaffe Ryan as "next President" returned 3,440 results.
I asked myself, "What if Obama had made the same mistake?" Fortunately for us, it's not a hypothetical. Barack Obama did make the same mistake when he introduced Joe Biden as his running mate on August 23, 2008. A Google News search restricted to the same time window (actually, I threw in Monday too), retuned a whopping 5 results, and several of those were off topic.
The message for Republicans should be clear: don't trust the media; they're not objective, and they're certainly not on your side.
