John Lott Talks Guns on Tara Servatius Show
John Lott, author of More Guns, Less Crime, joined Tara Servatius on her radio show yesterday to talk about guns, crime, and the false promise of gun bans. Excerpt below:
Lott: [0:44] "If you are talking to somebody who really supports gun control, the one question I think you should think of asking them is 'name one place in the world where we've had a gun ban and murder rates have gone down, or even one place in the world where we've had a gun ban and murder rates have even stayed the same,' because every place I can find where we have crime data ... you see a gun ban, and murder rates go up. ... four, five, seven fold increases ...."
