Infographic: Barack Obama's War on the Budget
In those rare instances where liberals gripe about spending, it's usually because money has been spent on something other than a social program. Even though 43% of Democrats in Congress at the time voted for it, The War in Iraq has become one of the Democrats' favorite political punching bags when talking about our debt. (Oddly enough, they never seem to bring up entitlements). Although spending on the war may have contributed to the deficit, it is far from the root cause. No amount of preaching or wishful thinking can change that.
