Bristol Palin's Affirmative Action
I don't watch Dancing with the Stars. Anything worthwhile from such shows will eventually end up on YouTube anyway. That said, the universal consensus seems to be: Bristol Palin can't dance, but she keeps winning regardless--or, not getting voted off. Liberals, because they hate her mother, are quickly becoming unhinged. Suddenly, the champions of "Affirmative Action" care about merit. On MSNBC, Contessa Brewer is crediting a Tea Party conspiracy with Bristol Palin's success. Frankly, it's more likely she got a lesson in targeted marketing from Alvin Greene. Either way, if this is the singular event that has made liberals come to their senses over outdated policy, then we owe Bristol a great debt.
On another note: I hope she wins. Not because I care about the show, I don't; not because she needs the prize money; she doesn't. I hope she wins so that I can watch the continued devolution of the left. If I'm right, and if she wins, then the "morning after" outrage and general lunacy could be among the best TV clips of the year. Fans of the show, please don't deny us this rare entertainment opportunity.
